Vikram Dev University holds the affiliation authority for over seventy-five government, aided, and self-financing degree colleges across the four southern Odisha districts of its jurisdiction. The roll below is searchable; the map shows location, type, and onward links.
Three districts of the University's jurisdiction (Koraput, Malkangiri, and Rayagada) are scheduled areas under the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution of India. Specific provisions of the affiliation framework, faculty deputation, and admission relaxation apply.

Affiliation, recognition, inspection
New-college affiliation, course-extension affiliation, and continuance-of-affiliation procedures are administered by the Office of the Registrar under the Odisha Universities Act and the relevant University Statutes. The Affiliation Inspection Committee visits each college every three years; an interim inspection is conducted where complaints are filed or where new courses are sanctioned.
- Application for affiliation: by 31 March of the academic year preceding the proposed start.
- Inspection fee: as notified annually.
- Recognition by the State Government and the UGC, where applicable, must be in force at the time of affiliation.
- Conditional affiliation, where granted, is reviewed annually until full affiliation is conferred.
